There are very specific barriers to learning that any student studying any subject needs to be aware of. So my first task with any new student arriving for tuition is to find out from them what phenomena they run into when they study. I ask a series of specific questions to get the data that I need. I then proceed to explain to the new student what the study barriers are, which one(s) he or she seems to be running into the most and, most importantly, what to do about them. The latter, puts the individual "in the drivers seat" i.e. puts them in control of their study and to get the most out of it.
This technology of study is not something that was invented. It was a discovery - probably THE most important discovery in the field of education. With it, you routinely get significantly better results and ability to apply what has been studied. You can find out more about it by logging on to appliedscholastics.org
