My daughter has only spent a short period of time with Jeff Smith for her GCSE Maths and Science Tuition, but I can see that she has become more focused on what she needs to do.
Jeff has a very different approach to education than the traditional method of teaching. You can try out the initial assessment to find out about it.
Over the past few years, she has had a few different Maths and Science Tutors and Jeff is one of the top in terms of being a positive influence. He does not treat his students like little children, but with the respect he would grant to adults.

When I first saw jeff I was struggling with A-Level biology. I was targeted an A grade but was on course for a C at best. Jeff guided me through topic areas which I was struggling with and massively improved my understanding in them. With the basic knowledge in place the focus turned to exam practice and technique. Together we would go through a paper and every time a wrong answer came up we would stop and go thorough it so when similar questions came up in my exam I wouldn't make the same mistake again. This made all the difference and I found that my few 1-to-1 sessions with Jeff were more beneficial than years spent at school in lessons. I believe that Jeff can take an awful lot of credit in helping me achieve my A Grade.
